I suggest you ...

support bar graphs when using the custom graph JSON

When building JSON to work with Status Board (which, as I understand it,
you guys try to be compatible with) you can specify type:bar and have it display a bar graph. An example of some JSON that works with Status Board is at http://gnuconsulting.com/test.json, generated by the script at
http://github.com/teancom/flareboard/. The JSON as-is doesn't work at all, complaining that the format is invalid. However, if you remove the type:bar (or pull a copy of http://gnuconsulting/test_dash.json), you can see that it displays nothing (because it's still trying to graph it as a line graph vs a bar chart).

As you might have figured out, I am the author of flareboard, and I would
love to be able to support Dash, but have been running into this problem.

Thank you for listening!

    Hi David -

I totally agree. We have an issue documented which will add support for bar charts. For now, I’m going to allow the type field, so the JSON is still valid.
